advantage] away from your country, from your relatives and your father’s

house, to the land that I will show you.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Thank You, Jesus for another answered prayer for Usain Bolt to win! AMEN!

He is a superb athlete, who is full of confidence and knows how to give of his best, in style! This is commendable and indelible!

I encourage each of us to find out one thing that we are good at, and excel at it, for the blessing of people: locally, nationally or internationally, for glory of God.

I like sports, especially athletics, Jamaican style... but, I am better at praying and spreading the Good News of Jesus and His love for us.

What are you good at that you are not sharing with others?

How can we help others to find God's purpose for their lives?

Let us endeavour to fulfil God's purpose for our lives and make a difference in this world.

11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,
says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil,
to give you a future and a hope.

12 Then you call upon Me and go and pray to Me,
and I will listen to you.

13 And you will seek Me and find Me,
when you search for Me with all your heart.

Jeremiah 29:11-13, New King James Version (NKJV

Acts 9:1-19, New King James Version (NKJV)

The Damascus Road: Saul Converted

Then Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest and asked letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.

As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven. Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?”

And he said, “Who are You, Lord?”

Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.[a] It is hard for you to kick against the goads.”

So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?”

Then the Lord said to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

And the men who journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice but seeing no one. Then Saul arose from the ground, and when his eyes were opened he saw no one. But they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus. And he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank.

Ananias Baptizes Saul

10 Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Ananias; and to him the Lord said in a vision, “Ananias.”

And he said, “Here I am, Lord.”

11 So the Lord said to him, “Arise and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for one called Saul of Tarsus, for behold, he is praying. 12 And in a vision he has seen a man named Ananias coming in and putting his hand on him, so that he might receive his sight.”

13 Then Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much harm he has done to Your saints in Jerusalem. 14 And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on Your name.”

15 But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel. 16 For I will show him how many things he must suffer for My name’s sake.”

17 And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus,[b] who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” 18 Immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he received his sight at once; and he arose and was baptized.

19 So when he had received food, he was strengthened. Then Saul spent some days with the disciples at Damascus.

do all in the name
of the Lord Jesus,

giving thanks through Him to God the Father."

Colossians 3:17, NASB.

Ephesians 6:11-13, KJV

11 Put on the whole armour of God,

that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,

but against principalities, against powers,

against the rulers of the darkness of this world,

against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God,

that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day,

and having done all, to stand.

THE WORD FOR 2 MAY 2012

For we are God's masterpiece. created in Christ Jesus to do good works,
which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10

Outwardly, you may not appear to be much of a masterpiece. But in reality, you are God's work of art -- and God does not make any junk.

You are a child of the Almighty God, Creator and Ruler of the universe.
Someone God is "raising" to be His companion for eternity.
You are NOT insignificant.

You are a work in progress. God still has more work to do with you --
but He is the artist, and He will finish His work.

Regardless of how you look or feel,
you are God's work of art -- His masterpiece
